Linette is excited to be hanging out with many of her friends at a private birthday party being hosted by one of her event planner friends as Universal Studios Hollywood. Some of these friends at the party have come from other places across the U.S. as well as abroad. For instance, there is Irene who relocated from Maryland to New Zealand over 5 years ago. Irene is now a chef at a top college in New Zealand and she is married to a person named Brett who now works as a Professor at the same college.

Heidi is a cook at a popular college based in Southern California and her husband Alfred works as a supply chain specialist at the same college. Many of these multiple friends at least 8-10 of them also come from parts of Canada and Australia. Linette has met some of them as a matter of fact during her travels. For instance, Linette met Irene at a mall in New Zealand while she was chatting up a musician (one that Linette idolized as a teenager). After the bash, Linette heads with her friends to a barbecue that is being hosted by publicists connected to Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, and his wife Blake Lively. Some of the musicians that perform at this barbecue are Arianna Grande, Mac Miller, Chance the Rapper etc. There is an international love theme to this party because many of the party’s guests come from different parts of the world with many of them happily coupled andor paired up. There is also a popular Hollywood Deejay who plays among the following songs;

Linette has fun at this party but has to head home that same night because her husband Logan told her that he is flying in to the Norfolk International Airport in a couple of days. Linette works as a civilian government employee who handles both mail carrier and supply ordering issues at a food storage place on the Norfolk Naval base. Her employer gave her 7 days off and Linette intends to use the 24 hours before meeting her husband Logan to get her hair done, finish organizing the house she completely paid for in Norfolk Virginia, and making sure that there are things in the house for Logan to use and enjoy. Additionally, Linette is now a size 0 and she last saw Logan when she was a size 8. Linette is determined to get a nice outfit to wow him after going without 9 months of seeing him. Linette plays the song Meet Virginia by Train as a way to help remind her of how far she has successfully come in her career, spiritual, and house buying goals.

Logan still lives in the Washington D.C. area because he enjoyed his job so much to where he wanted to stay and live without being too far apart from one of his family members for at least the next two years. However, he gave Linette his full emotional support in relocating to Norfolk Virginia because he shares her dream in living where owning a home is still a reality even on a non-government job income and understands that her desire to want to live there is both karmic (he saw in a dream where one of her spirit guides is telling her that one reason why she is guided to go back there has to do with both her destiny and karmic contract reasons). Linette completely paid off the home she purchased in Norfolk Virginia that was a rent to own for her and Logan. The plan is for Logan to follow Linette once his first child is born.

Linette and Logan have survived a long distance marriage of over a year now and they are confident that they can continue to make it work. However, Logan did have a moment of weakness one night at an office party where an attractive female named Gaye seduced him while they were both drunk. Gaye has red hair and is a lookalike of the talented singer Florence Welch from Florence & The Machine known for such songs as Shake it Out. Linette was understanding of Logan’s behavior because of the marital agreement that they had, especially with being long-distance. However, Linette was naturally concerned as to the fact that Gaye being 8 months pregnant means that Logan is going to have to help financially support the baby the rest of his life even if he relocates to Norfolk, Virginia on time.

Linette, dressed in a nice outfit decides to maybe check out a nice hotel for her and Logan to stay at when she receives a call from Logan. Logan calls and sounds remorseful about having to cancel on Linette because Gaye might be going into labor early. Linette offers to fly up to the Washington D.C. area to visit (which fortunately she now can because she now makes over 3 grand a month after taxes and has over 12 thousand dollars in her savings account). However, Logan apologizes and admits that he misses Linette as much as she misses him. Logan admits that he is now dealing with the fact that he accidently impregnated a 19 year old Selena Gomez lookalike at his job and has to also deal with her after he visits the hospital to check on Gaye in a few hours since she went into labor this morning.

Linette misses Logan so much because it has been over 9 months since they had seen each other in person and she intuitively knows that it may be another month before she sees Logan again. This is because all of the managers at Logan’s job are fortunately doing well and have been promoted to other jobs. This allowed Logan a promotion but the earliest he would be able to see her again is one to two months from now due to the trickiness of him being able to take days off after moving up as a manager.

Linette looks at the following love playlist that she has saved on her phone from her personalized favorites radio station on iheartradio of the following songs and wonders if she would still enjoy the playlist to listen to today even if she goes to sleep in her house alone;

Linette seems determined to avoid what just happened mess with her remaining days off and she so decides to the Barnes and Noble Center inside the Macarthur Center Mall in Norfolk, Virginia to get a coffee and brainstorm how she could still make her weekend fun despite what just occurred less than five minutes ago. Plus she is curious to see some of the books available and to see if she could get some of them cheaper through amazon.com, one of her favorite websites.

Linette stops to talk to one of her coworkers Henrietta who is lovingly helping her four kids through the children’s book section. Henrietta plans to buy each one of her kids a book. Less than 8 seconds after Henrietta leaves, Linette unexpectedly spots a man named Bailey from her husband Logan’s job in the Washington D.C. area.

Bailey just got done hugging and kissing a shapely size 6 woman goodbye and says to her “Millie, I will Call You Later.” It has been over a year since Linette saw Bailey but the romantic feelings that she has for him come back with a vengeance. Linette tries to discreetly get away because she cannot bear to work up the courage to see him again and risk having her heart smashed to smithereens. Just then Bailey loudly says to Linette, “ I remember who you are and yet you tried to pass me without saying a word to me.” Linette then makes it clear that she didn’t mean any harm by it but she is afriad to put it into words regarding her behavior. Linette then works up the courage to innocently ask Bailey what brought him all the way to Norfolk Virginia from the Washington D.C. area. Bailey then smiles and says “Before I tell you Linette why I am here, I have a bone to pick with you, which has nothing to do with the act you just pulled a few seconds ago.” The song How To Save a Life by The Fray comes on in Linette’s mind as she realizes that Bailey is coming from a friendly place, yet Linette is also too concerned that Bailey will discover that she still has romantic feelings for him even with the fact that they have not seen each other in person for at least a year.
