Epiphanies and Dreams Freestyle Story by Stella Carrier

Violet has an awareness overcome her in a happy way as she moonlights as a babysitter to two people who work as contracting specialists near the White House. The contracting specialist couple has done well for themselves to the point of even having a house completely paid off within 7 years despite once being owing 100,000 dollars in student loans. This is a rarity in the Washington D.C. Area even for many people who are employed in the Government sector. The wife of the couple Donna has even politely tried to convince Violet that maybe a career change as a contract specialist would help Violet and her husband in multiple ways not just financially. Violet has started to think about Donna’s career advice but promised herself that she is going to make a final decision within the next 8 months or less.

This is because Violet is not sure about giving up on a existing career dream unless a better idea comes along and knows that she must help her and her husband to the point that they are able to continue to live on their own regardless of what even their most concerned family members think. Violet even candidly told a concerned family member that she is willing to allow her husband to move in with them knowing that she would still stay on their own. The well meaning family member tried to persuade Violet by telling her what they think it would do to their marriage if Violet and her husband attempt another long distance marriage.

To the well-meaning family member’s frustration, Violet was undeterred by their serious marriage prediction regardless if they were correct or incorrect. This is because Violet understands that she would be happier staying in the Washington D.C. area andor only moving only a maximum of a 7 hours south or less via a Greyhound bus ride of where her and her husband currently live. Plus Violet had a dream where she was told by a spirit who only identified themselves from one of Violet’s British past-lives that she is happiest living where she feels is the best and not what others would want of her to do. Yes, this sounds like obvious advice but Violet had to be reminded because she is aware of how even the most persuasive/intelligent people in her life have their own ideas on where she should live based on what they want for her with little consideration that it is more of what they want and not what is actually best for her over the long-term.

Violet found this out the hard way when a family member persuaded Violet to turn down a federal government job opportunity in a large military community that was only around 204 miles south of where she lived in the Washington D.C. Area. Then that same family member told Violet’s husband about a job opportunity 200 miles north of where Violet and her husband lived less than 7 days after Violet turned down the federal government job that was 204 miles south of where her and her husband lived.

Violet even knows when she must geographically locate and even plans to consult in a psychic within the next 90 days or less on the best timeframe (to allow time to coordinate with her husband, her current employer etc). Violet promised this particular psychic less than a year ago when she was going to contact her and realizes the time is now sooner rather than later for doing so. She writes on the refrigerator on a piece of paper when she is going to call andor e-mail the psychic who also happens to be an author/writer. This is especially because Violet loves her husband deeply, knows that she is destined to strive to make her marriage last without compromising where she truly wants to live. As a result, Violet wants to get unbiased advice on the best career paths to take to strive to make her marriage last despite making a relocation that she knows many people would question.

Violet has put the two children that she babysits for the contracting specialist couple to bed that are in her charge and looks over the links she collected the day before and put them in a Microsoft word document before saving it in one of her e-mails. Before, Violet has a chance to interpret the links, the contracting specialist couple arrives home. Fortunately they are happy, especially because both of them have gotten a raise to where they both are now making 9500 a month after taxes (19,000 a month after taxes). Violet is happy for the couple. Donna then says are you sure Violet that you do not want me to put in a word for you with a company nearby who is looking for a contracting specialist of your experience.

Violet is tempted by Donna’s question because she is aware of even entry level contracting specialists who make at least 2,000 dollars a month after taxes starting out. Violet is intuitively aware that there are men and women working as civilian contracting specialists in the Washington D.C. area who do work similar to the contracting specialists in the Airforce and Air National Guard without at first having the professional experience or a bachelor’s degree.

Violet is tempted by Donna’s contracting specialist job referral because she knows that the job of a contracting specialist can actually cross over to other places within the United States. Violet thanks Donna for the offer but admits that she would need at least 2-8 more months to think it over. One reason; Violet wants to see if she is willing to give up her current career dreams to chase after being a contracting specialist. An additional reason; Violet wants to see first if she is extended at her current employer and because Violet knows that she must give her current employer at least a 2-3 week advance notice before leaving for another job andor leaving her current job to geographically relocate to another area.

Violet takes Donna’s generous 100 dollars for watching her kids today and heads out to take the bus back to her apartment that is a block nearby. The bus ride is about 45 minutes before heading back to her apartment. Violet figures this gives her enough time to look over the links to interpret what her intuition and higher self might be telling her. She is all too aware that others may consider Violet crazy for thinking this way. However, Violet has figured out from multiple new age/occult books that she has that her team of celestial spirit helpers and higher self intuitively send signs to her various ways through such means as articles.

Violet opens the first article through her phone and interprets the article to symbolize that her higher self is encouraging her to make becoming thinner by her 40^th birthday or sooner a high priority regardless of what people think of her for doing so. Violet is now in her 30s and is confident that she can reach this goal regardless of how many times she falls off the bandwagon and gets back on the weight loss/fitness horse so to speak; Suddenly, the reference of Rihanna in one of the Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris Daily Mail Uk articles gives Violet a weight loss inspiration idea

Because Saturday Night Live, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Hanks are connected to both comedy and writing, Violet understands that this is encouragement to continue her writing hobby for at least two times a week or more andor at least twice a month if she needs to allow herself more time to write in private notebooks that she prefers to be secret for now.

The articles that Violet looks at pertaining to the Pet Shop Boys, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus help remind her to indulge her love of music both in storytelling and save up to go to some concerts under a secret timeframe. Seeing the Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus articles help her understand that there is a reason why she wants to create a house and place for her husband in a military area near the Washington D.C. area even if her critics question if she is dreaming too big. However, Violet also understands that she may only fully understand the reasoning behind these true desires once she crosses over to her destined heavenly afterlife.

Violet notices that one of the children resembles the way she looks when she was younger even down to the bodyweight and hair type. Violet is a sensual and open minded woman but she feels herself blush when she notices that one of the scenes in her life where she is kissing on two different males from two different time periods look similar to the ken dolls she is playing with on two other screens representing when she was a little girl. Then another scene flashes from over 16 years earlier when she writes when she expects to get married. Violet then realizes that for some unexplained reason that she is going to eventually find out (by the time she crosses back into the afterlife after her current lifetime or sooner) that her writing is what is actually becoming more powerful the older she gets and that this secret is not meant for just her but for others to know as well. The child resembling her catches Violet innocently staring inside the bright and colorful mansion. Just two seconds later, the child just giggles back at Violet and shows Violet a tv image where she is looking at the following articles of other woman who also sport dark long hair. The child just replies keep this in mind Violet when making your weight dreams come true. Just then the child tosses dolls resembling Madeleine Cowe, Zoe Saldana, Padme Lakshmi, Jennifer Lopez her way, including a notebook titled paste doll images in here until you have a room in a house to store some dolls. Violet tries to ask the child more but the child just giggles friends as the other children disappear with her but fortunately not before showing an image in Violets life where she met a kind and spiritual woman in her real life who owned several dolls and was shown interacting with several acquaintances and friends in real life where some of them actually became friends. Violet understand that she must keep the identity of that woman secret for right now due to karmic reasons.

Just then, Violet is transported to an Old Navy store that opens itself into a classroom. A spirit dressed in a red and orange costume materializes a red gazebo of Japanese cherry blossoms before Violet as he mentions study and incorporate confidence themes and write settings in your dream residence location to give them more life and power. People who take the time to study you may laugh but go ahead and name one of your characters self-confidence and genius in your next story about your dream residence location.Just then a mashup of Wicked Game by Chris Isaak and Every Little Thing She Does is Magic plays before Violet is transported into a tan/brown beige mazda3 car that she owned before selling it back to Carmax for practical reasons. Violet is driving through one of the lobbies that is said to have been visited by Winston Churchill in one of the articles written by Robin Cherry of the Robb Report magazine. Less than 2-3 seconds after the mazda3 drive, Violet wakes up after a kind bus driver who recognizes her as a regular customer let her know that he had to stop the bus early for safety reasons. Fortunately Violet wakes up to see that the bus stopped at a location that is less than an 8 minute walk from her house.

Answers Found Through Words Freestyle Story by Stella Carrier

Disclaimer; I’m flattered by some of the online references implying that I do this freestyle writing as a paid writer. However, this writing is creative writing therapy for me but I would love to keep open the potential of growing into a paid writer for both my present and future. However, I intend to keep my creative writing hobby regardless of the outcomes in all areas of my life.

Jes is in the process of changing directions in various areas of her life and knows that regardless of what some of her well-meaning critics say that some of her ideas actually have the potential to change multiple areas of her life. Jes is starting to realize that her positive thinking actually carries more power than she realizes. Jes is starting to become more aware of what consumes her mind that indirectly affects her life. Jes is also starting to see that many of her dreams are becoming reality because she is putting her passion and higher self into it. On the positive side, Jes is also learning to transform her weaknesses into vehicles for further spiritual growth and stronger gifts. Jes’s existing talents are helping her connect with her intuition, self-determination, and the power of her imagination. The way that Jes is able to tell this stems from some of the dreams that she is having.

One of the dreams that Jes has involves being in an environment that has a gold and orange sign labeled Heaven’s Warehouse and she notices that she is in an outside background type of setting with some trains sponsored by the Amazon company. Jes then asks where she is at and a voice in the background explains to her that she is in a prototype of environment where the trains take the passengers to various worlds of heavenly spiritual light in the afterlife realms. The Heaven’s Warehouse is there to remind her that she could picture many of her requests being fulfilled in this warehouse even if she is trying to decide if they line up with her life purpose. One request that Jes sees is being fulfilled through a television screen image is her dream of being able to have a completely paid for home for both her and her husband Sun in a location that she sees is great for both of them. The voice explains to her that she must be patient but take action by a timeline/deadline that she has set for herself regardless of what some of her most persuasive critics tell her. Before she has a chance to ask more questions, her loving husband Sun gently wakes her up before leaving for work to help ensure that she has time for her walking routine before she starts work later on in the day.

Jes is married to an amazing man named Sun who has an eclectic taste in music via listening to such artists as Boys of Summer by Don Henley, Come Sail Away by Styx, Selena Gomex, Lady Gaga, Madonna stemming from the influence of his wife etc. Jes’s husband Sun went to get Thai noodle soup from a place called Pho 75 for both her and him when she decides to scroll the internet for a little bit. She finds an inspiring article through msn.com news on guys that have lost a lot of weight and are sharing tips to help others.

Jes then finds another link about celebrity Bella Thorne who manages to keep a consistent workout routine despite her busy schedule. Jes easily sees that this is a message from both her intuition and higher self that her walking and eventual running routine must stay high priority regardless of how busy her schedule gets.

As Jes waits for her husband to bring the food she spots the story of HGTV’s Chip and Joanna Gaines through her subscription via the Washington Post. Jes can easily see both her and Sun in a completely paid for home within the next 10 years or less and sees this as a sign of both the message that she got in one of her past dreams to take action towards setting a deadline on when action is going to be taken to relocate regardless of how she is judged for doing so. However, Jes is wise enough to know that this must be discreetly planned out at least 6-8 months out in advance at a minimum and to only implement an emergency backup plan if necessary. Jes looks up information on Chip and Joanna Gaines through the Washington Post and this is one of the links that pops out at her right away.

Jes makes note to watch more of Chip and Joanna Gaines in the future to get house furnishing ideas for both her husband and herself. She decides to save the Washington Post article for further research.

For some reason she looks away from the computer to spot a red and gold building titled Writing Academy sponsored by University of Maryland College Park of College Park Maryland and Old Dominion University of Norfolk Virginia.

Jes goes inside the building to a packed classroom filled with what looks to be 70-80 spirits in various colored robes and various doll masks as the song Awaken by Jes plays. The spirits are in red and turquoise blue chairs staring at me in a peaceful manner yet also silent. Jes tries to look around to see if there is an instructor at the front of this classroom as the classroom has a bright and colorful background akin to various bright flowers and shapes that Jes has not yet seen before. On what looks to be a peach and orange board the following is written;

You are inside a Writing Academy Created by the power of your creative imagination. You are going to tap into the essence of passion and excitement in all areas of your life for both you and your husband Sun with your writing regardless of the outcome. Please continue to do so even if others question if what you are doing is for naught, with little concern for whether your writing attracts judgement, obscurity andor fame. Make use of music, pictures, and the power of drawing/art to also help add structure to not just this Celestial Writing Academy being created but also for your writing goals, your weight loss/fitness goals, your blessed marriage and other areas of your life. Before Jes could ask further questions Jes feels a gentle tap on her shoulder. Sun awakens Jes after she fell asleep on the couch after looking at a Parade magazine edition feature of Chip and Joanna Gaines of the Fixer Upper tv show that caught her attention.

Unique Advice To Encourage Momentum Freestyle Story by Stella Carrier

Norma is relaxing to the Spirit in the Sky Song by Norman Greenbaum. Her parents enjoyed the song so much that they named her after the first name of the singer. Norma is now 60 years old and has been happily married to her sweet husband for over 35 years. Today she is at a Spiritualist/Religious Science Church hybrid class of 22 people that has asked Norma to read a passage of a book she self-published to great success. Norma and her husband have had a completely paid for home for over 10 years now, and have kept at least five years of financial savings in the bank with enough money to help them last until they are both 110 years old from shrewd investments that both her and her husband made in multiple businesses and stock market investments both domestic and internationally.

However, most people looking at Norma and her husband Mercury would not have guessed when they were in their 30’s that they would have over ten years of savings in the bank, completely debt-free counting their student loans by the time they were in their 60’s much less a paid for home. However, Norma knew that both her and Mercury have a chance to turn things around by staying on their own. She did not judge people who lived with family members to make it on their own. However, she had seen examples in her own life of people who had every intention of making it on their own without the help of parents but found it either too challenging andor too tempting to break away. Plus, Norma’s parents who had been happily married for over 40 years before passing away together in their sleep in their 90’s appeared in Norma’s dreams every now and then to let her know that she and Mercury have a bright future ahead of them continuing to live on their own regardless of what others think of them for doing so.

Norma would meet them at an orange and red table and explained to her that her life can change quicker if she makes it a priority each day to get her living space ready as if she is about to move for a job paying at least ten percent what she makes now whether she stays where she is living now or relocates. Norma’s parents explain to her that they got this idea from watching an excerpt from the Secret book by Rhonda Byrne who was trying to help someone become ready for a promotion. Norma’s parents then show her an embarrassing episode where she finds a receipt for Bath and Body works Japanese Cherry Blossom perfume from the summer before and a full bottle of the perfume that she forgot that she had. Norma’s parents compassionately explain that she might not see the immediate benefits in her life to continually keep this up at first. However, they emphasize that her and her husband are going to see positive results to this around 90-120 days after she commits to a commitment of organized and clutter-free living for at least 30 days and that continual adherence of this is going to help her connect with her higher self and celestial spirit ally team more but they are not yet allowed to explain more the why.

Then Norma’s parents introduce her to parents from a most recent past life who were both cooks for a royal court where they divided their time between England and Switzerland. Norma tries to ask both parents what time period yet they explain that they have to avoid explaining why for now for the sake of both her and her husband. However, they show Norma a table of apple recipes and another table of soup and salad recipes. The past life royal cook parents explain to Norma that she is doing a good job saving at least over 30 percent of her income for her and husband towards greater prosperity.

The mother emphasizes to Norma that they are showing her both the gallery of apple, soup, and salad recipes to help her see the connection between what she is putting in her body and how it ties into her connection with her higher self, her celestial ally team, and her prosperity. Norma then explains that she understand where her past life mom is coming from but she is trying to work things out with eating better while still saving money and time. However, Norma is determined to find a way to make the advice work especially after seeing an image of Cheesy Cauliflower soup and Apple Squash Soup.

Suddenly, Norma felt a gentle tug on her back. It turns out that she was actually dreaming and her loving husband was gently cuddling her while sleeping.

Tessa loves her job working at the university library and helping various ages of college students. The ages of some of the students range in various ages with some as young as 16 and others are in the ages of the 90’s. One of the reasons why Tessa is very popular with many students is because she helps out many of the students with their research needs regardless of who they are. She is in the process of planning a week long vacation with her husband and 10 other friends where 6 are married, 2 are single, and 2 others are in long term relationships. They have all agreed on a trip during the summertime for over 8 months later. Tessa has been nominated for the job as an unofficial travel planner/vacation planner/travel consultant for the group. She asks her husband if a budget for a 6 day vacation to Europe of 3000 dollars aside from the plane ticket is doable and acceptable for them. He agrees on the condition that she uses her researching skills to show him an itinerary plan.

Tessa Scours information from the Daily Mail UK website first featuring the favorite hotels of some popular people. She somehow gets the idea to check out music festivals in England during her planned travel after seeing the feature of Guy Ritchie (ex of one of her favorite musicians Madonna) and Kate Winslet (connection to the Movie Titanic and the song My Heart Will Go On song by Celine Dion) in one of the articles. Tessa is still undecided if it is a good idea to try to push the idea of a music festival to both her husband and other friends when she also notices that Florence Welch is featured in two Conde Nast Traveler articles that are tied into the Daily Mail UK article

Tessa is trying to decide if selecting the Glastonbury festival is more suitable for her, her husband Red, and her friends that are coming along or the Cambridge Folk Festival. Tessa notices that she also needs to coordinate the travel dates with her husband and friends if she is to attend either of these music festivals. The reason being; The Glastonbury Festival which includes a range of acts ranging from Metallica, Lana Del Rey, London Grammer and more is slated to occur in June. Meanwhile the Cambridge Folk Festival is slated to take place in July with the feature of eclectic music,story-telling, art classes, balancing tuition demands, and other self-improvement enrichments.

Tessa speaks to her friends and goes with the Cambridge Folk Festival idea when she checks a text message from her husband that confirms that him and the whole group agreed to the last week in July. Tessa then gets the idea to talk to Isla, one of her friends who started out as a temporary worker and is now a chef at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Isla’s job allows her to travel just as Tessa’s job does. Isla decided to send Tessa an e-mail containing memoirs of some of her past travels from her blog as a gift to Isla.

Some of the traveling that Isla has done; Isla and her husband Gabriel celebrated their 20 year wedding anniversary at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Fortunately, both Isla and her husband Gabriel were making an abundant amount of money to where they had over 200,000 dollars in savings and a completely paid for house. They were able to even attend the gala in the Caesar’s Palace hotel that featured Tony Bennet. Since Isla and her husband had two weeks to vacation, they decided to split part of their vacation in Malibu California and Australia.

Isla and Gabriel rented out a Malibu home from a famous couple of opulent wealth for four days. The home is known to have a 3,000 bottle wine cellar and great summer bonfire parties nearby. Isla and Gabriel agreed to rent out part of the home at a bargain price of 500 dollars for four days on one condition from the very wealthy couple that they rented it from; that Isla and Gabriel would be fine with being guests at one of the pool parties that was being held in this elegant home near Southern California’s Broad Beach in Malibu.

Isla and Gabriel were also able to attend a music and movie festival party in a house near the location of where a Sydney party was thrown by Robb Report magazine publishers. This party had around 88 people from different occupations within Australia. Isla and Gabriel were able to obtain party invites through one of their female friends who works as a public relations spokeswoman for the University of Nevada in Las Vegas campus. Their discounted travel tickets for part of Isla and Gabriel’s honeymoon to Sydney with the help of a friend who works as a travel agent for the Canadian university that Tessa is employed at. In return, Isla was happy to send Tessa an e-mail of some of her past travel memoirs from her blog.

Fortunately, two of Tessa’s friends who are a married couple come in to visit Tessa at the library asking if she would like to go to lunch. This university library happens to be near some of the most popular restaurants and university campus dining halls and eateries among locals in Canada. Naturally, Tessa and this married couple trade ideas back and forth for four minutes before deciding on a restaurant that is partnered with one of the campus dining halls. The married couple’s names are Valentino and Honor. Honor works as a travel agent for the university and moonlights as a travel writer. In her work for the university that she is employed at, Honor organized a railway trip through the Canada Rockies. Honor helped organized a widely received and enjoyed university sponsored trip that included over 52 various people employed in different areas across the universities ( cooks, caterers, event planners, janitors, travel agents, public relations specialists, school administrators, and students from various majors as well as teacher assistants/instructors etc). Honor also moonlights as a travel blogger on the side and has shared and gotten mentorship from various other writers who have traveled to places such as beach bars in Bali, coffeeshops and operas in Paris, and various castles across London.

Honor’s husband Valentino works as a public relations spokesman for the university. Valentino has met various politicians across Canada, the U.S., Europe, New Zealand, Australia and other places around the world because of his work puts him in close proximity to many prominent school administrators, professors, and other academic professionals. Valentino is also in contact with some of the university chefs whose previous places of employment involved serving various food to the rich and famous.

As a matter of fact, one of the places that doubles as a dining service hall has 3 chefs that are close friends with Valentino. Valentino makes a telephone call to one of the chefs involving special food requests for him, his wife Honor, and their friend Tessa. By the time all three arrive at the Dining Hall one of their temporary rotation workers greets all three of them at the table with a Grilled Porterhouse steak and mashed Okinawan potatoes. Another university rotation food service worker gives Honor Bacon Ricotta Mozarella Truffle Pizza. The rotation food service worker that served Valentino gives Tessa homemade bbq ribs and rainbow chard. The French mustard brings out the taste of the ribs for Tessa while the butter and garlic made the chard taste delicious.

Suddenly, Tessa fortunately gets the idea to organize part of the 7 day trip to England to include at least a day in Scotland (after seeing a student wearing a red and blue t-shirt labeled Scotland). Tessa asks Honor while they are eating if she would feel comfortable helping her organize a 7 day trip to where one of the days includes Scotland. Suddenly, the city of Edinburgh and Glasglow University flash into Honor’s mind. Honor asks Tessa about Edinburgh and Glasglow University to which Tessa expresses that this would be a great idea. Less than three hours after the end of their lunch, Tessa gets off of work and heads to a nearby building where Honor is working. The ending of the Pure Imagination song by Barbara Streisand feat. Seth McFarlane and the beginning of the tune Counting Stars by One Republic comes on as Tessa walks into Honor’s university travel agent office.

Picking Concert Companions Freestyle Short Story by Stella Carrier on Wednesday October 12, 2016

Petra is excited about her upcoming project. She is a public relations specialist working at a university that coordinates many events with the schools and works with various businesses in the area. She scored 6 tickets to go to an upcoming Pet Shop Boys concert that is going to be held at the University. Petra’s free tickets came as an extra perk for her job with an awareness that she is going to bring a large entourage. Petra is thrilled about these tickets because of a long distance friend named Ronan from England explaining to her that he had a chance to watch the Pet Shop Boys perform at the 2012 London Olympics. Ronan explained that the performance was brilliant and he only wished that their concert segment lasted a little longer.

Anyhow, Petra thinks of inviting some of her friends who work in food service at the University and 3 who are in the military. She invites a chef who works at the University and a cook who has been at the university less than three months but found out about the concert through another coworker who was attending the Pet Shop Boys concert with her husband of 12.5 years. Petra’s two military attendees involve one female who works in mass communications field for the U.S. Navy, another female who works as a culinary specialist for the U.S. Navy, and a third female who is contract specialist for the U.S. Air National Guard. This leaves Petra with deciding where her other four attendees are going to come from.

Petra decides to eat at one of the food court places on the University Campus that is a short walk from her campus. She unexpectedly runs into a female who she interviewed for a job and recognized her by the distinctive voice she had. Petra for some reason unintentionally sees the female come up to her because one of the cashiers that the female got her food from asked her to get Petra for her. Before Petra turns to go to the cashier she asks Diamond if she cares for a free Pet Shop Boys ticket. Diamond asks Petra how much, to which Petra says negotiate. Diamond offers to go to the atm to give 35 dollars to which Petra says is fair. Petra knows that technically the tickets are meant for only her and her entourage but she figures that she could bend the rules a little bit.

After Petra gets some salad and cut brisk met, Petra is still left deciding who to give the remaining 2 tickets to. Petra gets in her car and decides to give herself 24 hours to think about it. She has to allow herself some time to stop by one of the nearby hotels opening near the college that is related to one of her work accounts that she is doing. Petra also wants to contact one of her long distance friends who has had the chance to go to both The Royal Opera House in London for both the Pet Shop Boys and as cliché as it sounds this friend also had seen the classic rock group the Eagles in California (cliché I know due to the Hotel California song).

I preface sharing this poem by making it clear that I’m following the encouragement of my intuition and passion for being creative as influences for me sharing this poem writing from the point of view of King Arthur’s Half Sister Morgana from the Excalibur movie. I understand that the date is now Friday September 30, 2016 and I’m sharing a poem that is from August 14, 2011. However, I intuitively and logically felt that this was joyful for me to do in order to share that my higher self/my true/authentic self was encouraging my creativity in freestyle writing even before I consciously became more aware of it later on. I also must give credit and thanks to the Creative Writing Class teacher who encouraged me back in August 2011 when this was written.

Dearest Men and Women, You Must Know

How it Feels to See Your Beloved Father Go

Both my emotions and the night on that day were black

As I thought that my wonderful daddy was going to come back

There was something eery about the spirit posing as father coming back to the castle

I wanted to raise a ruckus to mother, but she sent me to bed as not to be a hassle

Anger and feelings of revenge flooded my heart when I found out my father died

I looked up to the heavens and thought “How could this happen” as I cried

I was then determined to one day avenge my father’s death that turned my life upside down

I can only look at the man that was Uther and my half-brother Arthur with a frown

I confess that I knew it was wrong to seduce my half-brother

I wanted to be more in control of my destiny, compared to mother

I tricked King Arthur in helping me to conceive a son

I disguised myself as Guinevere, Arthur’s only one

I did this to avenge my father who many years ago I lost

I had to get back at Arthur’s father Uther no matter the cost

When I gave birth to Mordred, my revenge plan was underway

I learned magic so that things can more often go my way

Even I confess that it was evil to force Merlin to give me the Charm in Making

After seeing what kindness got my father, I amassed all the supernatural power for the taking

Many people only judge me as the magical witch woman who has a very cold heart

I’m a wise woman who only wanted to prevent the mistakes her father made from the start

Our friendship even goes back to when Ragnar And Lagertha were still married

They both even survived the hardship of experiencing their daughter buried

I admit that I killed Athlestan because I was afraid of him betraying Ragnar one day

Never did I imagine that murdering Athlestan would make Ragnar hurt this way

I truthfully found it ironic when his son Bjorn ordered me put to death

As Crazy as it sounds I wonder if I have a past life connection with

His son that sounds similar to the biblical story of Cain, Abel, and their brother Seth

The reason being is because I felt like I was being put to death by a family member

The time that I fed and sheltered his parents, maybe Bjorn was too young to remember

Floki killed Athlestan for his Christianity many would say

Even though I’m pagan it was not quite that way

Truth is I felt like Athlestan was not good enough to be Ragnar’s close adviser

The fact that Athlestan left Ragnar as soon as he could left me concerned that

Athlestan would have plans to share too much information with an enemy king

And that information on this treason would be hidden at first leaving Ragnar none the wiser

The fact that Ragnar is even questioning my loyalty to him as a friend is actually what is ironic

Before he agreed with his son that I deserved death I always considered Ragnar iconic

Yes, there were times that I questioned what Ragnar was doing but that is what good friends do

A friend who truly cares for their friend will give their friend advice to help make them better and prevent them from looking like a fool

My running away was only a way to cope with Ragnar’s inability to see around him what is madness

Even in death, if only Ragnar could see the good I was doing in the difficult decision of what I did to Athlestan, it would fill my spirit with gladness.
